You can’t change history, but it can change you - discover how at Plimoth Plantation, a high profile cultural destination dedicated to the living history of the native Wampanoag and colonial English of 17th century Plymouth. This Smithsonian Institution affiliate features costumed interpreters in four major exhibits including the Wampanoag Homesite, 1627 English Village, and Crafts Center at the Warren Avenue campus and Mayflower II, a reproduction ship modeled after the 17th century sailing vessel that brought the colonists to Plymouth in 1620, located on the Plymouth waterfront, at the State Pier. Experience history in a hands-on environment like no other where rare breed animals live among role playing English interpreters farming a recreated village and modern day Native interpreters practice the life ways of their ancestors in a recreated homesite.
