Enjoy Newport and Aquidneck Island in grand style as you step back in time and escape the ordinary aboard the Islander Touring Train. Depart Downtown Newport aboard authentic passenger rail cars for an 80 minute excursion along the beautiful shoreline of Narragansett Bay. View the super aircraft carriers Forrestal and Saratoga, sailing ships and glimpses of Prudence Island from your window seat. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase. A “Rolling Gift Shop” is available right on board. All cars are climate controlled.

Tip: Reservations recommended and accepted when leaving a credit card. Your credit card will not be charged unless you do NOT show up for the tour.

Directions: Follow Route 24 South to Route 114 South. Follow Route 114 south into Newport. Look for the Newport Police station on the right-hand side, take next available right onto Marlborough Street. Follow to the end; the Marriott Hotel will be directly in front of you. Take a right at this light, onto America’s Cup Avenue and get into the left-hand lane. At the first light, turn left and then an immediate right into the depot parking lot.
